On 24 November 2008 the Libyan embassy in London announced a change in the visa application system. All applicants, irrespective of nationality, have to apply in person and supply a fingerprint.

Proof of valid travel insurance
Hotel reservation
Return ticket
Letter from the employer
Bank statements of the last 6 months
