We have recently been contacted by various job seekers about a fake job offer they have received from a source pretending to be LCM Oil & Gas Ltd. Emails were sent from addresses such as lcmoil@ymail.com; lcmoil_11@ymail.com; lcmoilcompanyuk@ymail.com or lcmoil@administrativos.com - these are not to be trusted and are not genuine LCM email addresses. (These emails are disguised as coming from info@lcmoil.com which was one of our addresses until recently. Due to this issue we have changed this email address.)

Attached to this email and within the body of the email is the LCM UK address but with fake phone and fax numbers. We found that 2 names were used - Prof. Larry S. Anderson and Dr. Pauline S. Huledtone. Please note that these individuals are not employees of LCM. Often, there seem to be follow up emails with information on visa procurement and a request to pay money through Western Union.
