A flowline project entitled “A92 Oil well Connection Project” was completed in November 2007 well before the expected completion date. The project scope saw the installation (fabrication, erection, testing and pre-commissioning) of 1,300m of 8” buried carbon steel piping and 130m of 8” above ground carbon steel piping from a newly drilled wellhead to a tie in point.

Included in the scope were necessary civil works, such as installation of anchor blocks, supports, bases, etc. Due to the fast completion of this project, LCM was awarded a similar job – but this time covering 1400m of 8” buried carbon steel piping.

This project started on 3rd Jan 2008 and was also completed ahead of schedule.
